Just a bunch of left over stuff |
Nice day to make a table |
Believe it or not I actually picked out my favorites out of that big pile |
I'm starting to get excited |
Now I'm stoked! |
Into the shop for some initial layout. I just don't throw the boards together, it takes time to pick the best spot for each one. |
Time to glue and clamp |
Clamp city is forming |
All glued and clamped up, now time to cut this thing down to size |
I love being in the shop |
Filling the holes with clear epoxy keeps them black and is super cool |
Close up! |
After filling the cracks, nail holes, and sanding, it's time to router the edges. We did a 1/4" round over for this. I like it better then a full bullnose. |
First coat |
Second |
5 coats. All done by hand with a brush |
Ta da....... |
The base is metal powder coated black. |
I dial in all the exact details with the clients prior to the construction |
Little G checking it out. |
